Spacious it ain't, but Beer Mania has got everything it needs to play the role of Belgian beer purveyor par excellence. Namely a great, glistening refrigerator packed with every type of Belgian beer we'd ever heard of, and twice more of those we haven't. The ambience, despite the bar's small size, is pleasantly reminiscent of bars in the West: simple, solid furniture, wood-paneled walls and an air of relaxed efficiency. Bars & Clubs

A tempest in a teapot; a mania in a closet. Spacious it ain't, but Beer Mania has got everything it needs to play the role of Belgian beer purveyor par excellence. Namely: a great, glistening refrigerator packed with every type of Belgian beer we'd ever heard of, and twice that number that we hadn't (how do the Belgians find time for anything but beer-making?). The ambience, despite the bar's small size, is reminiscent in a very good way of bars in the West: simple, solid furniture, wood-paneled walls, and an air of relaxed efficiency. Specialty beers run RMB 35-55. Jul 06
