The Emergency is over – it seems nobody wanted to eat food served by waitstaff wearing surgical scrubs – but the party’s just starting. Following a minor makeover and a changing of the guard, the space has been reborn as Alfa, owned by the people behind Muse and host to the schemes of the [010] party organisers. Expect Martini Nights, Absinthe Parties, leather-related events and other assorted aberrations to be held here in the future. The club’s interior is pleasant enough, with a nice upstairs and rumours of a hot tub on the way, but it’s the outside that may make the difference – a giant ground-level patio in front of the club, with stairs leading to the club’s second floor, and wicker chairs for drinkers and diners to relax in.
