Thank everybody for this tip. Thin, good pizza. Noodles perfect (could just be a bit more). Nice small snacks for the bread. Salad very fresh. Great addition to the "Italian community".

The location isn't that easy to find -- 2nd floor of the Oriental Media Center -- but once you do, it's a real treat. I had two courses for lunch (68 yuan), and they were fantastic! The mixed salad with strips of bacon and chicken breast in a nice Italian dressing was almost a meal in itself. But the pasta -- called "pasticcio" -- was an excellent tagliatelle with a creamy tomato bolognese sauce! And instead of dessert, I tried the limoncello (a liqueur made from lemons and lemon rind), and it was very good. The service and the atmosphere are terrific. Bear in mind that the soft drinks are a little pricey, but apart from that, it's a warm, delicious experience. I'll go back often.

Review of Maccheroni
We went there tonight for dinner and enjoyed the food. Although it's very easy to see the restaurant from the street, it's difficult to find the entrance that takes you up to the second floor. Nonetheless it's worth the wander.
Inside you will find an abundance of attentive staff. The food is very good and reasonably priced. The free appetiser and the visit from the manager was a nice touch and all the staff were friendly and helpful. Our waitress spoke excellent English.
When we asked for iced water, we actually got chilled water with ice in it instead of the tepid room temperature drinks most places insist on giving you despite the 冰水 request.
We will definitely visit again.

Maccheroni is without a doubt a hidden treasure - a great place to go eat, drink and enjoy a great time with your friends. My first experience here was so unforgettable. Not only is the food exceptional but the entire ambiance is stimulating. It's the perfect spot for a date. My girlfriend and I love it. We return every time we are in this area.

Maccheroni has some nice set lunch specials (68 kuai for 2 courses, slightly more for 3)... the pizzas, pastas and salads we tried were great and the chef visiting the table and offering is a free dessert to sample was a nice touch. A little bit hard to find -- on the 2nd floor of the Oriental Media Center, which is 2 buildings to the east of Hatsune -- but worth hunting out.

We all ready been few time and everythink was perfect.
Italian great chef, nice service and very good management by an Italian yang guy.
Also the event thay make every week are very interesting...
Is a please where really need to go.
