Hello.

I have a medium-sized Western restaurant & bar in the Houhai area. I am looking for a business partner to work and help me with the daily management. We have only been open a short time.

Since many of my customers are foreigners, I need someone with good English communication skills.

More importantly, the partner must have a strong work-ethic and also willing to contribute ideas to help grow the customer base. I am not hiring a manager, I am offering to sell a part of my business to someone who wants to create and share in the success of their labors.

Anyone interesting in establishing a poetry workshop group? The idea is to create, through regular get-togethers and complementary email discussions, a friendly and supportive forum where participants can present their original work and receive constructive and thoughtful feedback from other members. Discussion on published poets, craft, creativity, etc. will also be encouraged. Working language will be English but perhaps poetry originally written in Chinese or other languages could be reveiwed in translation. If you are interested then please send an email introducing yourself and any ideas you might have. I will collect responses and propose the next step via email. I am a student from New Zealand and I'm looking for people to go rock climbing with me!Hopefully enough people to start a little rock climbing club!!!

I was in a small rock climbing club for about 2 years back in New Zealand, and I'm hoping to continue climbing in Beijing.

There are 2 locations I go for rock climbing, one is a small gym in Baiziwan called Extreme Experience, the other is in Ritan park.

Time: twice (or more) a week.
my schedule is quite flexible.

Rock Climbing is actually really fun, and a really good exercise for flexibility and body toning!

Train from Beijing - Lhasa need 2 people to join Us

Travel partners for Tibet train. We are 2 guys from the USA, late 30's and will be taking the train from Beijing to Lhasa around Dec 14 and stay there about 10 days before flying back to Beijing. Since the soft sleepers have 4 spaces we are looking for 2 nice people to join us so we don't have to spend 48 hours with some strangers. I'm working in Beijing and speak Chinese, my friend is visiting from the US. Let me know if you are interested. I think it will be a great trip, mainly we are just looking to share the train compartment to Lhasa, then can go our separate ways or travel some together. Being laidback and healthy is our only requirement for fellow travelers.

hi my name is nikki and i am one of the foreigners living in china, i am showing great interest in pen and paper roleplaying games but haven't found many people to play with, this acitivity is also good for getting to know each other, i am married and not lonely.

i just want to find some new friends to play some fine rpg's. most prefferably people who love to play white wolf's: new world of darkness and Vampire:the reqiuem. these games are really fun and innovative, i especially need storytellers who know the game mechanics very well, newbies are welcome as well.
